about Alexander Rose

Established in London in 2003, in late 2009 we opened a New Zealand branch of the company in Wellington. We’re excited about bringing our expertise to this fantastic country.

Alexander Rose is passionate about making businesses look and perform better. We’ve helped to shape some of the worlds most prominent brands, developing and nurturing them with enthusiasm.

Darren Lovell / Managing Director
In Darren’s long career he has seen it, done it and got the t-shirt designed, produced, delivered the next morning. He oversees all account management and will be your first point of contact when you work with Alexander Rose. Prior to joining Alexander Rose, Darren was the Creative Services Manager for a large London agency and oversaw the implementation of £1million+ press and digital campaigns for some of the UK’s largest financial services companies. Some of the brands he has helped move forward over the years are Renault, Guinness, Eidos, Lloyds TSB, Abbey, Aviva & Scottish Widows.

Philippa Dawe / Creative Director
With over 15 years design, branding and marketing experience in NZ, Australia, USA and the UK, Philippa has been a visual design leader for high profile brands such as Herman Miller, Pimm’s, Renault, Marks and Spencer, BNZ, Te Papa, NZ Olympics and more. With one eye on business strategy and the other on precision execution, she can transport your brand from an annual report, to an integrated press and online campaign, to a retail space and back again. Philippa is a proud Kiwi who trained and began her career in Wellington. Philippa established Alexander Rose in London in 2003.

Every day we’re looking for ways to decrease our carbon footprint.

Of course we recycle all paper and food waste, minimise our electricity use by shutting down all computers at night and more often than not there are a selection of bike helmets hanging on our coat hooks.

For our clients, we encourage the use of web and online marketing tools and when we specify a print project we always advise the use of recycled and ethically sourced papers, and whenever possible, to print with vegetable based inks.
